- 1 cup [250 mL] freshly made white breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup [175 g] margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 cups [300 g] sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 [20-ounce / 568-mL] can crushed pineapple
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] milk, to brown

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Into a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, melted margarine, sugar, beaten eggs and undrained crushed pineapple.
- Evenly spread mixture into a lightly greased rectangular 9 x 13-inch [23 x 33-cm] baking dish.
- Sprinkle all over with milk.
- Bake into preheated oven for 45 minutes, until golden.
