Oven-Baked Crushed Pineapple Dressing
Comments: Excellent served along with ham, and poultry.

IngredientsPreparation
  • 1 cup [250 mL] freshly made white breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup [175 g] margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups [300 g] sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 [20-ounce / 568-mL] can crushed pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] milk, to brown
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Into a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, melted margarine, sugar, beaten eggs and undrained crushed pineapple.
  • Evenly spread mixture into a lightly greased rectangular 9 x 13-inch [23 x 33-cm] baking dish.
  • Sprinkle all over with milk.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 45 minutes, until golden.
