- 2 cups [500 mL] finely chopped dried figs
- 2 seedless navel oranges, peeled and membranes removed, finely chopped or ground
- 1 cup [250 mL] sweet red wine
- 1 cup [250 mL] liquid honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks

- Combine all ingredients into a saucepan.
- Simmer, stirring occasionally until mixture is thick, of jam consistency.
- Leave to cool completely.
- Keep refrigerated.
