Sugar Shack Pancakes

Comments: Serve these pancakes along with a little pure maple syrup, a real treat.

  • 1 1/2 cups [210 g] flour
  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] milk
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • Oil or shortening
  • Beat together flour, milk, baking powder, eggs and salt, until smooth; if needed, add a little more milk.
  • Heat oil or shortening [approximately 1/2 inch - 1.3 cm deep melted fat] into a frypan, over high heat.
  • Pour in a little batter at a time.
  • Lightly brown on one side, then flip pancake over and brown on other side.
