Chinese-Style Noodles

Comments: To taste, you can add cooked chicken or pork dices or boiled shelled and deveined shrimps along with drained macaroni elbows.
It is also possible to mix in any desired cooked vegetables pieces, even use vegetables only.
It usually is not necessary to salt these noodles as liquid beef broth concentrate and soy sauce are really salty.

  • Peanut oil
  • Approximately 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 or 3 green onions, sliced
  • 4 cups [1 L] rinsed well-drained boiled 'al dente' macaroni elbows
  • Liquid beef broth concentrate
  • Soy sauce, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Heat a little peanut oil into a wok or a large casserole.
  • Just soften together minced garlic and green onion slices into hot oil.
  • Mix in well-drained macaroni elbows.
  • Stir in enough liquid beef broth concentrate to get a deep brown color.
  • Mix in a little soy sauce and pepper until really well blended.
  • Reheat stirring until really hot, and serve.
