Grandma's Baked Spaghetti

  • 3 pounds [1.4 kg] ground pork
  • 1 pound [454 g] spaghetti
  • 19 ounces [256 mL] tomato juice
  • 19 ounces [256 mL] chopped tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] ground clove
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] poultry seasonings
  • Butter
  • Cook meat in a frying pan.
  • Add tomatoes, tomato juice, seasonings and boil; reduce.
  • Cook spaghetti half-way.
  • In a large oven-safe dish, mix together meat and spaghetti.
  • Scatter small knobs of butter on top.
  • Cover and place in preheated oven at 350°F [180°C] for about 3 hours, uncover for last 1/2 hour.
