Broccoli Sausage Meat Macaroni

  • 1/2 pound [227 g] sausage meat
  • 1 pound [454 g] macaroni noodles
  • 1 broccoli head
  • 1/8 pound [57 g] margarine
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] Tabasco sauce
  • Into a frypan, brown sausage meat into melted margarine, stirring.
  • Boil macaroni noodles into salted boiling water until done; drain and reserve.
  • Boil broccoli into salted boiling water, until tender yet still crunchy.
  • Drain and break broccoli into flowerets.
  • Melt margarine into a casserole; stir in reserved macaroni noodles.
  • Into a clean saucepan, fry minced garlic into really hot olive oil; mix in sausage meat and broccoli flowerets.
  • Mix into macaroni noodles and serve, hot.
