One-Egg Pizza Dough

  • 1 teaspoon [5 g] sugar
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] lukewarm water
  • 1 [1-tablespoon / 15-mL] pouch active dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] milk
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] oil
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
  • 4 cups [560 g] flour
  • Melt sugar into lukewarm water; mix in yeast.
  • Leave to rest for 10 minutes.
  • Mix egg into yeast mixture.
  • Heat milk.
  • Mix in oil, salt and egg/yeast mixture.
  • Mix into flour; knead.
