- 1 recipe pizza dough, rolled into 4 [8-inch / 20-cm] circles
- 1 cup [250 mL] pizza sauce
- 3 1/2 ounces [100 g] salami or ham slices
- 4 mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 small sweet green pepper, chopped
- 1/3 cup [75 g] shredded cheese [Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese]
- 1 egg, beaten

- Preheat oven to 425°F [220°C].
- Spread half of the center of each pizza circle with pizza sauce, not spreading any sauce over thicker parts all around.
- Evenly garnish each pizza, with tomato sauce, salami or ham slices, mushroom slices and with chopped sweet green pepper.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Fold each pizza into a half circle.
- Press press all around unitl completely sealed.
- Brush pizza pockets with beaten egg; arrange onto a baking sheet.
- Bake into preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
