Pirate Head's Pizza

  • 2 [7-inch / 18-cm each] traditional Italian breads
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] pizza sauce
  • 2 cups [450 g] shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Cold cuts:
  • 2 slices pepperoni
  • 2 mini slices pepperoni
  • Approximately 6 to 8 ham slices
  • Vegetables:
  • 2 slices green pepper
  • 2 ripe olives
  • 2 pineapple chunks
  • 2 sweet red pepper strips
  • Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
  • Spread each traditional Italian bread with 1 tablespoon [15 mL] pizza sauce; envenly sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
  • To make pirate heads, garnish each pizza with:
  • 1 slice green pepper; as the pirate's headband
  • 1 slice pepperoni, as the pirate's eye blindfold
  • 1 mini slice pepperoni, as the eye blindfold holder
  • Rolled ham slices, as the pirate's beard
  • 1 ripe olive, as the pirate's eye
  • 1 pineapple chunk, as the pirate's nose
  • 1 red pepper strip as the pirate's mouth
  • Arrange pizza onto a cookie sheet.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 5 minutes.
