Pesto, Sun-Dried Tomato Pizza

Pesto: Italian paste made of pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, basil, olive oil and garlic.
Servings: 1 [14-inch / 35.5-cm] pizza or 4 individual-size pizza

  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] corn flour
  • 1 unbaked pizza crust [or 4 individual-size]
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] pesto
  • 1 1/4 cups [310 mL] shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons [60 mL] chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] pine nuts
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Few drops olive oil
  • Oil
  • Preheat oven to 500°F [260°F].
  • Sprinkle an oiled pizza sheet with corn flour; transfer unbaked pizza crust[s] onto pizza sheet.
  • Spread pizza crust[s] with pesto.
  • Sprinkle all over with shredded cheese.
  • Garnish with chopped sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts.
  • Season with lots of freshly ground pepper.
  • Sprinkle with olive oil.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
