Pizza Crust [bread machine]

Servings: 2 [15-inch / 38-cm each] pizza crusts

  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] water
  • 4 cups [560 g] flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon [3.75 g] sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons [7.5 mL] salt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons [37.5 mL] olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons [5 g] active dry yeast
  • Garnishings, to taste
  • Mix together water, flour, sugar, salt, olive oil and dry yeast, in given order.
  • Process into bread machine; remove dough from bread machine and half dough.
  • Sprinkle dough with flour; leave to rise for 10 minutes on the counter, covered with a dry cloth.
  • Shape dough into pizza crusts.
  • Garnish crusts to taste.
  • Bake into a preheated 400°F [200°C] oven, for 15 to 20 minutes.
