- 2 teaspoons [10 g] sugar
- 1 [1/4-ounce / 7-g] package active dry yeast
- 1 cup [250 mL] lukewarm water
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
- 2 1/2 cups [350 g] all-purpose flour

- Mix together sugar, yeast and lukewarm water into a mixing bowl; let stand for 10 minutes.
- Then mix in vegetable oil, egg, salt and 1 1/2 cups [210 g] flour.
- Add remaining flour; thoroughly mix.
- Transfer into a greased bowl.
- Cover and let stand for about 45 minutes, into a warm environment [I usually turn my oven on to 175°F [80°C] and sit the bowl besides a top burner to let the heat through].
- Roll-out dough onto a pizza pan or a cookie sheet.
- Bake pizza crust for 10 minutes, into a preheated 400°F [200°C] oven.
