- 2 hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] sweet pickles, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] olive, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] celery, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] sweet green pepper, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons [30 ml] chili sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Butter
- 8 to 10 salad rolls
- 1 cup [225 g] fine yellow Cheddar cheese dices

- Mix together finely chopped eggs, sweet pickles, onion, olives, celery and sweet green pepper; salt and pepper.
- Mix in chili sauce and at least 1/4 cup [60 mL] mayonnaise.
- Evenly spread mixture among halved and buttered salad rolls.
- Evenly top with Cheddar cheese dices.
- Bake into a preheated 300°F [150°C] oven for at least 8 minutes.
