- 24 tiny pita breads
- 1 cup [250 mL] pizza or tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped mushrooms
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] chopped ripe olives
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] oregano
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup [225 g] grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup [250 mL] finely diced pepperoni
- 1 sweet red or green pepper, chopped

- Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
- Arrange pita breads on a baking sheet; spread each pita bread with 1 tablespoon [15 ml] sauce.
- Add mushrooms, black olives and oregano.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
- Add pepperoni and sweet red or green pepper.
- Bake into preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Serve.
