- 1/2 cup [125 mL] creamy Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup [250 mL] mayonnaise
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] stuffed olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] green onions, chopped
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] sliced mushrooms
- 2 French bread sticks, sliced

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Melt cheese into a double-boiler, over hot water.
- Stir in mayonnaise.
- Turn off heat, but leave preparation on the stove.
- Thoroughly mix in chopped eggs, chopped olives, chopped onions and mushroom slices.
- Spread mixture over bread slices; arrange slices onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake into preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
