- 1 pound [454 g] lean ground beef
- 1 [1 1/4-ounce / 35-g] pack taco seasoning mix
- 1 [12-inch / 30-cm] pizza pastry shell
- 1 [14-ounce / 398-mL] can Mexican refried beans
- 1 cup [225 g] grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup [250 mL] shredded lettuce
- 1/2 to 1 cup [125 to 250 mL] pickled Jalapeno pepper slices, drained
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] thick'n chunky salsa
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped tomato
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped onion

- Preheat oven to 425°F [220°C].
- Into a large skillet, cook ground beef sprinkled with taco seasoning mix, following mix packaging instructions; crumble and reserve.
- Arrange pizza pastry shell onto a baking sheet.
- Evenly top with refried beans, then with cooked seasoned ground beef crumbs.
- Bake into preheated oven for 10 minutes, until crust is lightly browned.
- Sprinkle all over with grated Cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 2 minutes more, until cheese melts.
- Remove from oven.
- Top with shredded lettuce, pickled Jalapeno pepper slices, thick'n chunky salsa, chopped tomato and chopped onion.
- Serve immediately.
