Torpedo-Shaped Pizza

Servings: 1 [8-inch / 20-cm] pizza

  • 1 [8-inch / 20-cm] pizza pastry shell
  • Pizza sauce, to taste
  • 8 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] finely minced sweet green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] finely minced onion
  • 3/4 cup [175 g] grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 slice tomato, cubed
  • Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
  • Spread half of pizza pastry shell with pizza sauce.
  • Top sauce with pepperoni slices, then with finely minced sweet green pepper and onion.
  • Top with grated Mozzarella cheese and finally with tomato cubes.
  • Fold in half.
  • Fold round end over, into a cigar-shape.
  • Transfer 'torpedo' onto a greased oven-safe baking sheet.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for approximately 20 minutes.
