Artichoke Turkey Bake

  • 2 pounds [1 kg] cooked turkey
  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] white sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 artichoke hearts, cooked or canned
  • 3 ounces [85 g] butter
  • 2 ounces [56 g] grated Swiss cheese
  • Finely chop cooked turkey.
  • Mix chopped turkey into white sauce.
  • Salt and pepper; keep warm.
  • Puree artichoke hearts.
  • Heat artichoke puree in 2 1/2 ounces [70 g] butter; salt and pepper.
  • Mix together turkey mixture and artichoke puree.
  • Evenly spread mixture into an oven-proof dish.
  • Dot with remaining butter; sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Brown into a preheated 450°F [230°C] oven, for 10 minutes.
