- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
- 1 tablespoon [8.75 g] flour
- 1 cup [250 mL] milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooked chicken dices, to taste
- 1 or 2 boiled carrots, sliced

- Melt butter into a saucepan.
- Stir in flour, then milk.
- Salt and pepper.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Mix in chicken dices and carrot slices.
- Reheat and serve.
