Sauce
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] vinegar
- 2 cups [125 mL] catsup
- 2 cups [500 mL] water
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup [250 mL] finely chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] salt
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] pepper
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] butter
- Tabasco sauce, to taste

- In a saucepan, mix together all sauce ingredients; simmer for 15 minutes, over low heat.
- Preheat oven to 325°F [163°C].
- Brush chicken skewers with some of the sauce; bake into preheated oven for 15 minutes on each side.
- Meanwhile, bring remaining sauce to a boil; boil for a few minutes.
- Serve brochettes, along with remaining hot sauce.
