- Blue [Concord] grapes, washed
- Sugar [same weight as grape skins]

- Delicately press* grapes, to separate the skin from the fruit; weight skins and reserve into a bowl.
- *Just press each grape between two fingers and it's done!
- Transfer meat into a casserole; simmer for approxiamtely 10 minutes.
- Press through a sieve, to remove all seeds.
- Transfer puree back into casserole; add skins.
- Cook for 10 minutes more.
- Stir in sugar; cook for at least 20 minutes.
- Cool; pour into sterilized jars.
