  • Corn-on-the-cob
    [really fresh corn-on-the-cob only]
  • Water
  • Remove husks and silks from corns.
  • Rinse and separate cobs according to size.
  • Blanch small corn-on-the-cob for 7 minutes into boiling water.
  • Blanch medium-size corn-on-the-cob for 9 minutes into boiling water.
  • Blanch larger corn-on-the-cob for 11 minutes into boiling water.
  • Cool corn-on-the-cob into cold water, changing water often; let cool for approximately the same time as the blanching time.
  • Freeze corn-on-the-cob into humidity-free containers.
