Ham and Cheese Quiche

  • 1 [6 1/2-ounce / 184-g] can ham flakes
  • 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] chopped green onions or sweet green pepper
  • 1 [9-inch / 23-cm] baked pie shell
  • 1 cup [250 mL] cream [10% m.s.g.]
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] dry mustard
  • Evenly spread ham flakes, grated cheese and chopped green onions or sweet green pepper into pie shell.
  • Into a medium-size bowl, beat together cream, eggs and dry mustard.
  • Pour into pie shell.
  • Bake into a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until center is set.
