Bibi's Quiche

  • 8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 [9-inch / 23-cm] pastry shell
  • 2 cups [450 g] grated cheese
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] grated Parmesan cheese
  • Sprinkle fried bacon crumbs into pastry shell.
  • Sprinkle all over with grated cheese.
  • Into a bowl, beat together eggs, evaporated milk, finely chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
  • Pour into quiche shell.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake into a 375°F [190°C] oven for 30 minutes.
  • Leave to rest for 5 minutes, before serving.
