- 8 slices bread
- 8 slices Cheddar cheese
- 4 thin slices ham
- 4 eggs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] chopped parsley
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] milk

- Into a square cake pan, arrange 4 slices of bread.
- Top with 4 slices of cheese, then with 4 slices of ham, 4 slices of bread and finally with 4 slices of cheese.
- Beat together eggs salt, pepper, chopped parsley and milk; pour all over slices of cheese.
- Bake into a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven, until egg mixture is set and golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
