- 8 slices fried bacon, crumbled
- 1 [9-inch / 23-cm] unbaked pie shell
- 2 cups [450 g] grated Swiss cheese
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] minced onion
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] grated Parmesan cheese

- Sprinkle bottom of pie shell with bacon crumbs; top with grated Swiss cheese.
- Well mix together beaten eggs, evaporated milk, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Sprinkle all over with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake into a preheated 375°F [190°C] oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until the blade of a knife comes out clean from its center.
- Set aside for 5 minutes, before serving.
