Chinese-Style Fried Rice

Comments: To taste, you can add cooked chicken or pork dices or boiled shelled and deveined shrimps to this rice.
It is also possible to mix in any desired cooked vegetables pieces, even use vegetables only.
It usually is not necessary to salt these noodles as liquid beef broth concentrate and soy sauce are really salty.

  • Peanut oil
  • Approximately 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 or 3 green onions, sliced
  • 4 cups [1 L] well-drained boiled until soft yet still a little crunchy long-grain white rice
  • Liquid beef broth concentrate
  • 1 well-done fried egg, cut into strips
  • Soy sauce, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Heat a little peanut oil into a wok or a large casserole.
  • Just soften together minced garlic and green onion slices into hot oil.
  • Mix in well-drained rice.
  • Stir in enough liquid beef broth concentrate to get a nice brownish color.
  • Add fried egg strips, a little soy sauce, pepper and mix until really well blended.
  • Reheat stirring until really hot, and serve.
