- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] well-drained boiled white rice
- 1 cup [250 mL] milk
- 4 tablespoons [60 g] butter, melted
- 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Swiss cheese
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] freshly cleaned chopped spinach leaves
- 1 egg, beaten

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Butter a large casserole.
- Combine boiled rice, milk, melted butter, grated Swiss cheese, chopped onion and spinach and beaten egg.
- Pour into buttered casserole.
- Bake into preheated oven, for 40 minutes.
