- 1/2 pound [227 g] butter
- 5 onions, chopped
- 3 sweet green peppers, chopped
- 1/2 celery head, finely minced
- 3 cups [750 mL] long-grain rice
- 1/2 pound [227 g] fried bacon, crumbled
- 2 cups [500 mL] cooked chicken cubes
- Soy sauce

- Melt butter; slowly cook chopped onions, chopped green peppers and minced celery; set aside.
- Boil rice until tender.
- Well mix together boiled rice, bacon crumbs, chicken cubes and reserved vegetables.
- Reheat over low heat.
- Stir in soy sauce, to taste.
