- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cooking oil
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] fresh green peas
- 1 pound [454 g] cooked pork cubes or shrimp [optional]
- 2 cups [500 mL] boiled rice
- Soy sauce
- Dash of black pepper

- Pour oil into a wok or a deep frypan.
- Add chopped carrot, chopped onion and green peas.
- Stir-fry until tender, yet still crunchy.
- Mix in pork cubes or shrimp.
- Mix in boiled rice, then sprinkle to taste with soy sauce.
- Pepper and serve.
