- 5 pounds [2.27 kg] wieners, sliced
- 12 ounces [304 g] onions, chopped
- 2 1/2 pounds [1.13 kg] uncooked long grain rice
- 6 cups [1.5 L] chicken broth
- 48 ounces [1 L] Old cheddar cheese sauce
- 1 [46-ounce / 1.4-mL] can kidney beans, drained
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] hot and spicy seasoned salt
- Sour cream [optional]
- Ripe olive slices [optional]

- Lightly brown together wiener slices and chopped onions.
- Rinse rice.
- Mix rice into wiener slices/chopped onions mixture; stir-fry for minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and cheese sauce; mix in drained kidney beans.
- Season with seasoned salt.
- Cover; cook over low heat for 40 minutes.
- If desired, serve along with sour cream and ripe olive slices.
