- 1 egg
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] Dijon mustard
- 1/8 cup [30 mL] lemon juice
- A few anchovies
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] oil
- Ground pepper

- Crush the anchovies with a fork.
- Add garlic, egg, mustard, pepper and lemon juice.
- Mix well, incorporating oil a little at a time.
