- Romaine lettuce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 egg yellows
- 5 tablespoons [75 mL] olive oil
- 5 tablespoons [75 mL] wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Dijon mustard
- 2 or 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- 2 or 3 drops Worcestershire sauce
- Croutons
- Parmesan cheese

- Rub a salad bowl with a clove of garlic.
- Place Romaine lettuce, torn to pieces.
- Mix together egg yellows, olive oil, wine vinegar, mustard, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces.
- Pour sauce over lettuce and mix well.
- Sprinkle with croutons and Parmesan cheese.
