Caprese Salad

  • 6 nice tomatoes
  • 6 balls of bocconcini cheese
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] fresh [important] basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] oil
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • In a serving dish, place tomatoes slices and bocconcini cheese alternating to cover the dish.
  • Sprinkle with freshly chopped basil, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately.
