Coleslaw Vinaigrette

Comments: Is very similar to that served in well-known chicken rotisseries chains.
Can be kept a few weeks in the refrigerator.
Servings: For about 4 cups [1 L] chopped cabbage, to which 1 small chopped onion and 1 small grated carrot has been added.
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] water
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] oil
  • 2 tablespoons [30 g] sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Into a saucepan, simmer together vinegar, water, sugar, salt and pepper to dissolve sugar.
  • Stir in oil and bring to a light boil.
  • Pour over cabbage.
  • Leave to cool, refrigerated.
