- 1/2 cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] white vinegar
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] real mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] 15% cream
- 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
- Salt and pepper
- Grated carrot [optional]

- Place shredded cabbage in a salad bowl.
- In another bowl, mix together vinegar, mayonnaise, cream and sugar.
- Add vinaigrette to shredded cabbage.
- Mix well.
- Generously season with salt and pepper [to taste].
- Add a grated carrot [optional] to add color and vitamins.
Healthy Version
- Replace cream by 2% milk but salad will be less creamy.
