Corn Syrup Coleslaw

You can double the recipe if you like. Keeps 2 to 3 weeks in refrigerator.
Servings:
Enough for a medium sized cabbage.
1 cup [250 mL] vinegar
1 cup [250 mL] corn syrup
1/2 cup [125 mL] vegetable oil
1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] pepper
Chopped cabbage
Mix together all ingredients and pour over cabbage.
Marinate 24 hours in refrigerator, stirring at least once.
