Corn Syrup Coleslaw

Comments: You can double the recipe if you like. Keeps 2 to 3 weeks in refrigerator.
Servings: Enough for a medium sized cabbage.
  • 1 cup [250 mL] vinegar
  • 1 cup [250 mL] corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] pepper
  • Chopped cabbage
  • Mix together all ingredients and pour over cabbage.
  • Marinate 24 hours in refrigerator, stirring at least once.
