Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 broccoli
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup [250 mL] shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices cooked bacon, crispy
Sauce
  • 1 cup [250 mL] mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] oil
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] white sugar
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] prepared mustard
  • Break up cauliflower and broccoli into small bouquets and place in a large bowl.
  • Add chopped onion and shredded Cheddar cheese.
  • Prepare sauce by mixing together all ingredients.
  • Add sauce to first mixture.
  • Crumble bacon and add.
  • Keep in a hermetically closed plastic container.
