Apple Tuna Fish Salad

  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] yogurt
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] tarragon, dried
  • 1 can [6 1/2 ounces / 184 mL] white or pale tuna
  • 1 can [10 ounces / 284 mL] mandarin sections, drained
  • 1 apple with peel, diced
  • 1 cup [250 mL] celery, sliced
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] raisins
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Chopped nuts
  • Mix together mayonnaise, yogurt, honey, shallots and tarragon.
  • Drain tuna and break into pieces.
  • Add mandarins, apple, celery and raisins.
  • Stir in enough sauce to coat all ingredients.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate.
  • Serve over lettuce leaves.
  • Garnish with nuts.
