Creamy Buttermilk / Bacon Dressing

Comments: For variation in this recipe, stir into prepared dressing 7 slices of cooked, crumbled bacon.
Servings: 2 1/4 cups [560 mL]
  • 1 cup [250 mL] mayonnaise
  • 1 cup [250 mL] buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] minced fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons[30 mL] minced fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] ground white pepper
  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; stir well.
  • Refrigerate in a tightly covered container at least 2 hours prior to serving [can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 weeks].
  • Stir well before serving over salad.
