- 1 cup [250 mL] mayonnaise
- 1 cup [250 mL] buttermilk
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] minced fresh chives
- 2 tablespoons[30 mL] minced fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt
- 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] ground white pepper

- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; stir well.
- Refrigerate in a tightly covered container at least 2 hours prior to serving [can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 weeks].
- Stir well before serving over salad.
