- 1 1/4 cups [310 mL] ground ham
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] thoroughly drained canned crushed pineapple
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] drained cottage cheese
- Pepper
- Butter
- 10 slices of bread

- Mix together ground ham, drained crushed pineapple and cottage cheese; pepper to taste.
- Evenly spread 5 buttered slices of bread with mixture.
- Butter remaining slices of bread; cover mixture.
- Serve immediately.
