Tuna Fish Cheese Sandwich

  • 1 [6 1/2-ounce / 184 mL] can flaked tuna fish, drained
  • 1 cup [250 mL] freshly grated Emmenthal or Gruyere Cheese
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] grated carrot
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] finely chopped celery stalk
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] chopped green onion
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 slices of bread
  • Mix together tuna fish flakes, grated cheese, grated carrot, chopped celery, chopped green onion and mayonnaise.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Evenly spread mixture over 6 slices of bread.
  • Top with remaining slices of bread.
