Country-Style Open-Face Sandwich

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 slice of ham, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] canned mushroom pieces
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] white sauce
  • Grated Cheddar cheese
  • Toast slice of bread; cool.
  • Mix ham strips and mushroom pieces into white sauce.
  • Spread white sauce over slice of bread; sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Broil until golden brown.
