Rolls Dom's Style

Comments: If desired, add 1 cup [250 mL] grated cheese to filling.

  • 2/3 cup [160 mL] finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] celery dices
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] green pepper dices
  • 1 1/2 pounds [680 g] ground beef
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] catsup
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 6 rolls
  • Into a saucepan, melt chopped onion, diced celery and green pepper into a little olive oil.
  • Crumble ground beef; mix in with vegetables.
  • When meat is done, add catsup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well.
  • Stuff rolls with mixture.
