Ham and Cole Slaw or Salad Pita Bread

  • 1 cup [250 mL] cole slaw or mixed greens salad mix
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons [30 to 45 mL] low-fat ranch salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] chopped tomato
  • 1 whole wheat pita bread
  • 2 slices lean cooked ham
  • Into a bowl, mix together cole slaw or mixed greens salad mix and salad dressing.
  • Delicately mix in chopped tomato.
  • Half pita bread, shaping bread into 2 pockets.
  • Garnish each pocket half with 1 slice of ham.
  • Spoon in cole slaw or mixed greens salad mixture.
  • Serve immediately.
