- 6 pounds [2.7 g] thinly sliced precooked bacon
- Drained canned chick peas
- 5 pounds [2.25 kg] tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch [1-cm] thick
- 96 ounces [3 L] liquid mix for Old Cheddar cheese sauce
- 2 ounces [57 g] taco seasonings
- 16 ounces [454 g] raisins

- Toast 2 slices of bread, brown or white.
- Arrange 2 ounces [57 g] bacon slices over 1 toast; garnish with chick peas and 2 tomato slices.
- Reserve remaining toast.
- Broil garnished toast until tomato slices are hot.
- Prepare cheese sauce as indicated on package.
- Season sauce with taco seasonings; mix in raisins.
- Pour, lacing, 1/4 cup [60 mL] hot cheese sauce over garnished toast.
- Half reserved toast, diagonally.
- Arrange both toast halves over garnished toast.
