Melting Cheese Sandwiches

  • 8 slices whole wheat bread
  • Dijon mustard
  • Butter
  • 4 slices smoked turkey or ham
  • 4 slices of cheese [Provolone or Swiss]
  • Sliced black olives
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] butter
  • Spread bread slices with Dijon mustard on one side [inside], with butter on other side [outside].
  • Garnish mustard sides of 4 slices of bread with 1 slice of smoked turkey or ham and 1 slice of cheese; top with black olive slices.
  • Top with remaining slices of bread, buttered sides towards the outside.
  • Brown into a grill or on the stove into a frypan, flattening sandwiches.
