Ripe Olive Stuffed Baguette

  • 1/3 cup [75 g] softened butter
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] finely chopped ripe olives
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] oregano
  • 1 small baguette [French crusty bread stick]
  • Into a bowl, mix together softened butter, choped ripe olives, minced garlic and oregano.
  • Half baguette, being careful not to cut through other side of crust.
  • Spread inside of bread with olive mixture.
  • Wrap bread into al foil.
  • Bake for approximately 10 minutes, in a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven.
