- 1/3 cup [75 g] softened butter
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] finely chopped ripe olives
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] oregano
- 1 small baguette [French crusty bread stick]

- Into a bowl, mix together softened butter, choped ripe olives, minced garlic and oregano.
- Half baguette, being careful not to cut through other side of crust.
- Spread inside of bread with olive mixture.
- Wrap bread into al foil.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes, in a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven.
