- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] Cottage cheese
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] seeded cucumber, diced
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] diced or grated carrots
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] finely chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] dill
- Salt and pepper
- 2 pita breads, halved
- Lettuce leaves

- In a medium bowl, mix together Cottage cheese, cucumber, carrots, mayonnaise or salad dressing, green onions, vinegar and dill; delicately mix, salt and pepper to taste.
- Partly open pita pocket halves.
- Garnish each half with lettuce and stuff with Cottage cheese mixture.
