Club Sandwich
Comments: Serve as soon as possible, along with French fries.

  • 3 slices of bread
  • Cooked thin chicken fillet slices, preferably boiled
  • 4 fried bacon slices
  • 3 or 4 tomato slices
  • Lettuce leaf
  • Mayonnaise
  • Butter, or margarine
  • 4 long toothpicks
  • Toast bread slices.
  • Butter then spread one side of one toast with mayonnaise.
  • Cover with thin chicken fillet slices.
  • Butter both sides of second toast.
  • Spread some mayonnaise onto on side of toast.
  • Top chicken slices with buttered side of toast.
  • Top other side of toast with fried bacon slices, tomato slices and lettuce.
  • Butter then spread one side of remaining toast with mayonnaise.
  • Top tomato slices with buttered side of toast.
  • Arrange a toothpick halfway between each side of toasts and the middle of the sandwich.
  • Cut sandwich into 4 triangles.
  • Serve immediately, after having removed toothpicks if desired.
